La roca del pesebre napolitano representaba la verdadera escena de la natividad. En la tradición de la corte del siglo XVIII, en una estructura básica de corcho y madera, las diferentes escenas de la representación de la Natividad se organizaban escenográficamente: la Anunciación a los pastores, la Osteria, el viaje de los Reyes Magos, las escenas corales con pastores y rebaños.

In the tradition of the 18th-century court, the different scenes of the Nativity scene were arranged scenographically on a basic structure of cork and wood: the Annunciation to the shepherds, the Osteria, the journey of the Magi, and the choral scenes with shepherds and flocks.
